I enjoy using recycled materials and mixed media in my artwork because it allows me to transform what others might see as trash into something meaningful and beautiful. There’s a unique satisfaction in taking old scraps of paper, torn fabric, or discarded plastic and giving them a second life in a piece that tells its own story. Mixing these materials with paint, collage, or other techniques lets me play with texture and dimension, creating something that is unique. For me, it’s more than just art – it’s a way to connect with the world around me, reduce waste, and show that even the overlooked and forgotten can have value. Every piece I create becomes a reflection of my belief in renewal and the beauty of imperfection.
